THINGS TO DO
Whisky Tour
Perthshire is home to a rich array of whisky distilleries which encompass both lowland and highland whisky regions, and most are accessible to the public for tours and catering.
Local noteworthy distilleries include Tullibardine, Dewar’s, and Glenturret.
Golf
We are situated nearby the famous Gleneagles golf course, and within driving distance of many other courses throughout central and highland Scotland.
Perthshire alone contains over 40 golf courses, and the neighbouring county of Fife is home to the iconic Old Course at St. Andrews.
Fishing
There is superb salmon and trout fishing locations on the River Tay and the River Earn, both within short driving distance of the cottage (permits required).
Local fisheries include Drummond Fishery & Trout Farm, Orchil Loch Trout Farm, and Glensherup Fishery.
